41. Darwin Botanical Gardens cafe
The old Wesleyan Methodist Church was built in Adelaide and transported to Darwin in 1897, where it stood for over 100 years in Knuckey Street, surviving several cyclones. In 2000 it was renovated and moved to the Botanic Gardens, where it hosted many public functions; weddings, parties, art exhibitions, until 2014 when it was turned into a café.

42. Botanic Gardens Lake
This small, dark lake is at the heart of the Botanic Gardens and sometimes has fountains. Magnificent large trees surround the lake and path which leads off into the rest of the Gardens.
43. The Drawing Class
Drawing classes are sometimes held in the Botanic Gardens, and some people bring their dogs!
44. Boabs in Darwin Botanical Gardens
This group of boabs can be seen in the ‘Africa/Madagascar’ section of the Botanic Gardens. The climate of Darwin is similar to the Kimberleys of northern Australia, Southern Africa and Madagascar. All 8 known species of boabs are growing here.
