12. Cooking Clams at Rapid Creek Cliffs

When sketching the beach opposite, this woman came and sat in front of me, lit a tiny fire with a few leaves and cooked the ‘clams’ she had gathered on the rocks. I asked her if I could include her in my drawing and she agreed.
